Take a peek inside the Tight Club community, each week we’re checking in with one of our crew to learn what they get up to when they’re not slamming balls or crushing burpee challenges. These are the people that motivate you in class when sh!t gets real. From OG’s to newbies, here’s their inside scoop.
What is Tight in your life?
Working at Tight Club of course! Im currently finishing up my personal training program so I can be a personal trainer at Tight Club. Its pretty awesome being able to learn from one of your mentors.
I love anything that works the booty, cant get enough squats in my life. I also like ball slams, planking, and bosu ball hop-on and hop-offs (thank God only Keighty was there first time I tried those).
Something people might not know about you?
I grew up riding horses and wanted to go to the Olympics for show jumping. I travelled all around North America with my horses competing. I was that little girl that was all like “DADDY! DADDY! Can I have a pony!?” Then I got a pony, his name was Caramel.
I blame him for all of the injuries I have now, he was a little shit. I also have the same name as Kimmy Gibbler from Full house. I often get Kimmy Gibbler stalkers following me on Instagram, it's weird.
What’s your favourite workout song?
0-100 by Drake or anything by Future.
What’s your spirit animal and why?
All of my friends have concluded that both my brother and my spirit animal is a Koala Bear. I guess they are pretty cute and chill, but you definitely don't want to take their eucalyptus away from them. Google 'koala bear running' on Youtube; I'm pretty sure that's what I look like when I run.
Who would be your celebrity best friend?
For some reason I can never come up with who I would want to be my celebrity best friend, so I just did one of those online “whos your celebrity best friend?” quizzes by Seventeen magazine. I got Taylor Swift; I guess she wouldn't be THAT bad?
Favourite way to procrastinate?
Taking my dog for walks!
What was the last thing you read?
I honestly can't remember the last time I finished reading something. I kinda hate reading unless I'm lounging in a hammock on a tropical island, but I think I made it 17 pages into Shantaram.
If you could go anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?
Either to Nicaragua to lounge by the beach, do yoga and surf all day. Or to Nepal and India and trek through the mountains.
What does The Tight Life mean to you?
For me exercise is more than just for your physical state, but for your mental health as well. It's about finding that perfect balance between a strong booty and strong head space. Because at the end of the day, that's what is going to get you through those shit days.
What is your fitness goal?
Well I signed up to do the BMO half marathon this spring with my best friend and my brother so I guess I should probably start running. I’d also like to do the Vancouver to Whistler Gran Fondo and maybe conquer my fear of box jumps. I always dream of finishing an Ironman one day.
What is your new year's resolution?
To be brave and confident in everything that I do and to be inspired and help inspire those around me. Also keeping my room cleaner would be legit, but that probably wont happen.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
