Take a peek inside the Tight Club community, each week we’re checking in with one of our crew to learn what they get up to when they’re not slamming balls or crushing burpee challenges. These are the people that motivate you in class when sh!t gets real. From OG’s to newbies, here’s their inside scoop.
What is Tight in your life?
One of my favourite things right now is that I just moved into a great new place that’s right across the street from a good buddy. It’s nice to have someone near by who’s almost always available for a hang. We can actually see into each others apartments, which has been really fun and funny so far. I wonder how long until it gets weird…
Something people might not know about you?
I played bass in an all girl pop punk band in high school. We were called Stalking Bambi and we had piercings and short colourful hair and Dickies pants.
What’s your favourite workout song?
I don’t have a specific song, but TC’s Sports Day mix got me through some solo vacay workouts this summer (while I was away, missing Sports Day) and has also gotten me through many a workday grind.
What’s your spirit animal and why?
Probably a cat. I’m either being completely evasive or commanding everyone’s attention.
Who would be your celebrity best friend?
Oh easy, Jeff Goldblum! Gosh, we’d have so much fun.
Favourite way to procrastinate?
I spend A LOT of time hanging out in my bed with my laptop. I like to knit and sew, but I spend way more time researching new projects than actually completely the ones I’ve already got on the go.
What was the last thing you read?
To Kill a Mockingbird… on tape.
If you could go anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?
Up to Terrace to visit some fam and then continue on to Haida Gwaii to bum around and maybe camp (maybe not) and probably listen to more audiobooks.
What does The Tight Life mean to you?
It’s all about finding balance and feeling good and being able to share that experience with others in the community. Inspiring and being inspired. Pretty sweet and simple.
What is your fitness goal?
For now, just ten really beautiful, perfect push-ups would be nice.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
