Take a peek inside the Tight Club community, each week we’re checking in with one of our crew to learn what they get up to when they’re not slamming balls or crushing burpee challenges. These are the people that motivate you in class when sh!t gets real. From OG’s to newbies, here’s their inside scoop.
What is Tight in your life?
Literally everything, where I live, what I’m studying and the supportive people I hang with are all super tight. And tacos are tight too.
Any squat variation, strong legs are key.
Something people might not know about you?
I used to compete for snowboarding and mountain biking and broke too many bones to keep count. This lead to not being flexible at all and I aspire to touch my toes one day.
What’s your favourite workout song?
Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1- Kanye West, gets my in the zone every single time. Actually anything by Kanye does.
What animal are you most like and why?
For sure a cheetah, I’m super competitive and persistent, so are they. Plus, who doesn’t like cheetah print everything?
Who would be your celebrity best friend?
Does Obama count? I’d like to shoot some hoops with the man one day
Favourite way to procrastinate?
This is a tie between online shopping for shoes and surfing the web looking up future travel destinations.
What was the last thing you read?
Shoe Dog: Phil Knight’s biography, he’s the brain behind Nike and a real mad man.
What does the tight life mean to you?
The tight life for me is the balance in between work-play-train. I truly believe that sweating lots, learning new skills lots and having fun lots is what keeps me sane.
What is your fitness goal?
There’s a few legendary spots that I want to snowboard in Alaska in the near future, I need a strong body+mind for that.
Winter is coming, any big plans?
I am competing at the Legendary Mt Baker Banked Slalom in February, which is this cool snowboard anti-contest contest and I’m really looking forward to coming out of competition retirement for it. I’ve also heard that it may be the winter of getting barrelled in Japan????
Do you have any pre or post workout rituals?
Pre: a strong shot of espresso and listening to rap really loud. Post: Deep stretch and a big smoothie.

If you could go anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?
Sri Lanka to surf. I could use the tan.
