Take a peek inside the Tight Club community, each week we’re checking in with one of our crew to learn what they get up to when they’re not slamming balls or crushing burpee challenges. These are the people that motivate you in class when sh!t gets real. From OG’s to newbies, here’s their inside scoop.
What is Tight in your life?
The Tight Club Field House! It's been a project we've been working on over about two years now and it just feels so good to be finally open. My biggest fear was opening a studio that didn't capture the essence of what the old Tight Club was all about, but I am so happy this space turned out to be everything I could have ever wanted!

Something people might not know about you?
Probably nothing! I'm way too open in class.... but not alot of people in Vancouver know about my amateur razor scooting career when I lived in Portland. Youtube Tiff n Kev....

What’s your spirit animal and why?
Okay, so this is kind of harsh on myself, but I think I'd be a hyena. When I was a kid I wasn't popular enough to be Simba or Nala when playing Lion King with my friends, so I was always shafted to be the hyena. In the end I realized that I was a little savage, laughed a little loud at times, and wasn't afraid to fight for my food.
Who would be your celebrity best friend?
I've always wanted to kick it with Pauly Shore. I've also always wanted to smooch Pauly Shore... do best friends with benefits count?
Favourite way to procrastinate?
Create workout playlists
What was the last thing you read?
White Girl Problems. Don't judge me, that shit's actually funny!
If you could go anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?
I'd love to hit up the mountains right now. Christmas in the mountains surrounded by snow is a total fantasy of mine.
What does The Tight Life mean to you?
The Tight Life means alot of things to me. It's seamlessly joining the best parts of your social life into your active lifestyle. It's being motivated to throw down in class as hard as you throw down at the club.
It's motivating your buds to follow their goals inside the studio and out and to celebrate their personal gains when achieved. It's not about taking yourself too seriously, but always trying your best.
What is your fitness goal?
To triple jump over 12 meter again. It's only happened once.
What is your favourite Christmas/holiday memory?
Like I said, I was a very nervous child growing up. Every Christmas morning from the time I can remember to maybe a few years ago I would get so excited for the surprise of seeing Christmas presents under the tree, smelling the cinnamon buns in the oven, and having so many people over to the house that I would work myself into a tizzy and have to throw up. :)

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
