Take a peek inside the Tight Club community, each week we’re checking in with one of our crew to learn what they get up to when they’re not slamming balls or crushing burpee challenges. These are the people that motivate you in class when sh!t gets real. From OG’s to newbies, here’s their inside scoop.
🔥, kombucha, #blessed.
I’m not particularly fancy. Think of me more like a sneaky mid-afternoon, second lunch tasty slice from your fave pizza joint.
My family, friends and the whole Tight Club crew. Super fortunate to be surrounded by so many phenomenal peeps. Seriously hashtag blessed.
In the wee heritage town of Fort Langley, BC. It’s sweet and I definitely recommend checking out the Cranberry Festival they have every year in October.
I can recite A League Of Their Own word-for-word. That movie got me through some awkward pre-teen times. Some folks might guess that pretty obviously.
My 79 year-old Grams is answering this one and she says, “Always!”
The Black Lodge is one of the sweetest spots in town and they’ll be opening a second location soon. It has a cozy vibe (with shout outs to Twin Peaks) with it’s cute après-ski cabin decor and features some killer all-veggie comfort food options including tasty veggie poutine. On a dark November day, it’ll give you life.
Amelia Earhart. Not sure if it counts as power but it’d be awesome.
Oh Yeah by Mellow Yellow, you know, from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. It would work well not just because of it’s sentiment but also because it would pretty much be a perfect loop for infinity going on forever. Oh yeah!
Well, that started as a Halloween costume but has gradually become a lifestyle. When we got our pup, Miso Corgi, I wanted us to have a costume we could wear as a family. Now, we take a photo wearing them wherever we go on our travels and send ‘em to Grams because it makes her smile. You can see more ridiculousness on Insta at #hotdogswerehere. Most recently in the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge or keepin’ cool in Manning Park.
Always travel with a hammock.
Not sure but it definitely reaffirmed all my life choices and I almost dry heaved.
Burpees are tough. But not as tough as a HALF-BURPEE-CLAP. THE WORST. But it always feels so good once you’re done.
It means you can go as hard as you can on your mat and then go crush a beer with pals after. It’s pushing yourself with the support of a community in all areas of life. It’s balance and fun and sprinkling in some seriously silliness.
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
