Take a peek inside the Tight Club community, each week we’re checking in with one of our crew to learn what they get up to when they’re not slamming balls or crushing burpee challenges. These are the people that motivate you in class when sh!t gets real. From OG’s to newbies, here’s their inside scoop.
What is TIGHT in your life?
My friends and family are the tightest thing about life. Always.
"Beyonce's" are my go-to because when I'm doing them I imagine I'm in a music video with a wind machine blowing my hair back. So sexy!
Something people might not know about you?
Sometimes I can see people's energy lines floating around them when their vibe is at an intense level; extreme happiness, anger, sadness, and especially if they're heavily intoxicated. I know, it's trippy.
What’s your favourite workout song?
Music is everything to me so a good tune is a must to keep me motivated. Anything with a heavy dance or bass beat. I love Aly-Us "Follow Me" for a dance vibe and T.I. "What you know" for something I can sing along to.
What’s your spirit animal and why?
That would be a baby seal. Mainly because it's what I look like when I wake up in the morning (or so says my ex-roomie and bestie, Maggie).
Who would be your celebrity best friend?
Probably Bill Murray, Jimmy Fallon or Chelsea Handler. I could only hang around a celebrity who doesn't take themselves too seriously and who could keep the laughter going.
Favourite way to procrastinate?
Unfortunately, I have a terrible addiction to social media so if I'm looking for a way to escape something I don't want to do, I pick up my phone. That or (trying to) play my guitar at home.
What was the last thing you read?
I'm currently reading Gloria Steinem's, "My Life on the Road." Her leadership in activism, women's equality, and human rights is such an inspiration.
If you could go anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?
I would head to a beach for some sun, surf, and maybe a margarita or two. I'm a natural sun seeker and need the vitamin d and warmth to feel like a normal human.
What does The Tight Life mean to you?
It means creating a community of people who will support you in a healthy lifestyle, both physically and mentally, and who you can support right back. That's why I love Tight Club so much. It's such a stellar crew!
What is your fitness goal?
My goal is to be strong and lean so that I can deal with everything life throws at me now and as I get older. I also want to master the burpee so that I don't despise them so much!
Do you have any pre or post workout rituals?
I usually do the 6am classes so post workout I make a protein smoothie, then I take a tiny 15 minute nap.
How do you spoil yourself?
My job is pretty demanding at times so the biggest luxury is letting myself sleep in as long as I can on the weekends.

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
