Take a peek inside the Tight Club community, each week we’re checking in with one of our crew to learn what they get up to when they’re not slamming balls or crushing burpee challenges. These are the people that motivate you in class when sh!t gets real. From OG’s to newbies, here’s their inside scoop.
What is Tight in your life?
I feel so lucky — so many things are awesome in my life right now! I feel like I’m more on top of my fitness game than I’ve ever been before. I’m at this point where I feel a bit sore everyday and I’m like YEUSS.
My job is pretty tight — I'm so fortunate to be able work with such an amazing team! I get to be creative, connect with great people, and at the end of the day, feel like I made an impact on the people and the space around me. My family and friends are also THE tightest and are always down to try something new. Lately, that's making homemade pizza, going on hikes and questing for cocktails! Life's good!
Burpees and V-Ups. They are so my jams.
Something people might not know about you?
It’s funny seeing how far I’ve come with my fitness goals now versus the level I was at when I was a teenager. I have definitely been one of the last kids picked in high school gym class!
What’s your favourite workout song?
Anything I can sing along in my head to!
What’s your spirit animal and why?
A sloth because they just live their life. Eat some food, maybe sleep, occasionally fall out of a tree, sleep some more, be cool with doing whatever. They are killing it!
Who would be your celebrity best friend?
Doug the Pug. He’s considered a celebrity by now, right?
Favourite way to procrastinate?
Procrasti-cooking for sure. I find chopping veggies oddly satisfying.
What was the last thing you read?
I'm pretty sporadic about reading — I’m either not reading anything, or I have three things on the go. I’ve got my Kinfolk Magazine, No Logo by Naomi Klein, and The Hidden Art of Disney’s Golden Age happening here and there.
If you could go anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?
Europe — anywhere. Likely Berlin first though! I’ve never been anywhere in Europe before. I'm in love with the idea of moving to a place I’ve never been and exploring it all on my own. A few of my besties are planning on moving to Berlin next year, and given the timing, I think I’d be a crazy not to go too.
What does The Tight Life mean to you?
To me, The Tight Life means having balance and passion about what you do and who you do it with.
What is your fitness goal?
I want to be able to confidently hold a handstand!
Do you have any pre or post workout rituals?
Since it's getting so nice out now, I’ve started walking to Tight Club from my work on Broadway and Cambie. I take my time walking through Olympic Village along the seawall and sometimes sit on a bench and just chill out for a bit. This is my time to feel present with what’s going on around me, enjoy being outside aaand take secret snapchats of all the dogs that pass by haha.
How do you treat yourself?
HAPPY HOUR. Big fan. Is it considered "treating myself" if I always go though?
This summer my big plans are…
Lots of outdoor activities — hiking, beaching, local adventuring. The BF and I are also planning a trip to Montreal at the end of the summer which I’m really pumped for!

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
