Meet your Coach

I’m Keighty (she/her) — a trauma-informed, certified trainer who believes fitness should feel more like play than punishment.

With 15 years of experience training all types of folks, from professional athletes, weekend warriors, cancer surviors, dads with bad backs to moms who need an hour to themselves, I'm here to help people build a movement practice they actually understand and enjoy.

After my competitive track and field career went sideways (thanks, toxic fear-based coaching), I decided there had to be a better way. So in 2012, I opened my fitness studio called Tight Club Athletics in Vancouver, BC. It was a joyful rebellion against diet culture and shame-based fitness. Community, mental health, and "movement for life" became our heartbeat for over 8 years.

Now based in Ventura, CA, I offer a mix of in-person training at my private home studio and host an ever-growing workout library full of functional, feel-good classes.

Whether you're training for a surf trip, a hike, or just life in general, I’ve got your back.

Tight Club was born on the stolen lands of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, Sechelt, and Squamish Nations, and continues to thrive on Chumash territory.

My coaching blends athletic strength and conditioning with a more human, welcoming approach. I care deeply about smart programming, helping people better understand their bodies, and creating a space that feels supportive, motivating, and genuinely fun to be part of.


At the end of the day, I want people to leave feeling stronger, more capable, and more connected to themselves — so they can keep doing the things they love for a long time.
