My mission is to create a friendly, safe and uplifting space where people of all levels can rediscover the joy of moving their bodies—not for punishment or aesthetics, but for longevity, confidence, and mental well-being. Here, fitness feels human, playful, and sustainable.

Hello my friend
I’m Keighty (she/her) — a trauma-informed, certified trainer who believes fitness should feel more like play than punishment.
With over 10 years of experience and a video library to prove it, I help people build real strength, lasting confidence, and a movement practice they actually enjoy.
After my competitive track and field career went sideways (thanks, toxic fear-based coaching), I decided there had to be a better way. So in 2012, I opened my studio called Tight Club Athletics in Vancouver. It was a joyful rebellion against diet culture and shame-based fitness. Community, mental health, and movement for life became our heartbeat.
Now based in Ventura, CA, I offer a mix of in-person training at my private home studio and host an ever-growing workout library full of functional, feel-good classes.
Whether you're training for a surf trip, a hike, or just life in general—I’ve got your back.
Hire me for your retreat, your seasonal reset, or to get out for a walk. When you train with me, you’ll find a space where all bodies are welcome—and taking up space is fully encouraged.
Tight Club was born on the stolen lands of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, Sechelt, and Squamish Nations, and now lives on Chumash territory.
1-on-1 Personal Training
Let’s talk about you.
Personal training is where you level up — moving the way you love, learning what your body’s capable of, and taking that knowledge wherever life pulls you next.
We’ll start with a movement screen and a simple full-body workout to see how your body moves, then I'll build a plan that fits your goals and your lifestyle. Every session helps you move smarter, feel stronger, and stay ready for whatever life (or your sport) throws your way.
What’s Included:
- Personal Goal Setting: We’ll talk about what matters most to you and build your training around it.
- 60-Minute Private Sessions utilizing functional equipment like kettlebells, dumbells, bands, barbells and more.
- TCTV Access: All clients training once a week or more receive free access to my on-demand video library.
- Private Training Space: Train in a (mostly) sunny, open-air space with good music, good vibes, and all the gear you could ever need.


The amazing thing that TCTV has done isn't just increase my mobility or strength or stamina - the amazing thing is the sense of community that Keighty has built!
